Fissures, found on the top surfaces of molars and pre-molars, can be difficult to clean and may collect food particles. This can lead to bacterial growth and the formation of a cavity over time.
A sealant is a protective coating that covers the tooth, preventing food and bacteria from settling. In addition to its high effectiveness, this treatment is also quick, easy, and convenient.
While typically aimed at children, this treatment can also be beneficial for adults who are especially concerned about preventing cavities.

Christian graduated from The University of Bristol, UK in 2006 with a BDS and also completed a MFDS RCPS (Glasgow). In his role as a dentist, he enjoys receiving positive feedback from patients, whether it is from an improved smile or an experience that was easier than anticipated.
